Τα νέα κινητά της Sony Ericsson

Μετά από 2-3 χρόνια με το K750i το κινητό της φωτογραφίας το ξεχώρισα ανάμεσα στα καινούργια της Sony Ericsson και το ερωτεύτηκα με την πρώτη ματιά(για να μείνω στο κλίμα του προηγούμενου post). Πρόκειται για το W960 ένα Walkman Phone που τα έχει όλα. WiFi, 8GB μνήμη, φωτογραφική 3.2 megapixel,… θέλετε κι’ άλλα; Οκ, θα μου πείτε, δεν είναι σαν το iPhone! Τελικά μου φαίνεται το iPhone είναι μια φούσκα που μόνο στον ανταγωνισμό έκανε καλό. Θα βγάλει SDK η Apple, δεν θα βγάλει, θα υποστηρίζει java, όχι τελικά θα προγραμματίζουμε για τον browser του, αα θα έχει flash, … με κούρασαν όλα αυτά. Άσε που στην τιμή του πέρνεις ένα laptop χαλαρά… Δοκιμάστε το SDK της Sony Ericsson! Το “on-device debugging” που προσφέρει είναι όλα τα λεφτά (και παίζει και με Netbeans)!!!

…But, whether planned or not, Hawkins may have actually hit on a more powerful mobile-computing idea.
Since this is a small, lightweight Linux computer, it could eventually become a new stand-alone portable-computing platform that the Linux or open-source crowd embraces.
Imagine what could happen if the open-source movement decides to start building software applications for this platform.
I think it is plausible that Foleo will become the darling of this movement and help get Linux into the mainstream mobile marketplace, perhaps even challenging the dominance of the Windows portable computers…[FoxNews]
